In just two hours, you'll transform a piece of silver into your very own handmade ring, learning genuine jewellery-making techniques along the way. And the wonderful news is you'll be wearing your creation home that very same day!

Choose from a selection of ring styles, discover your finger size and get stuck into the wonderful world of jewellery making. Whether you fancy something sleek and shiny or textured and full of character, you'll learn how to create a ring that's uniquely yours.

This is one of our most popular Taster Experiences, designed especially for complete beginners who fancy having a go at making their own jewellery. Never held a jeweller's saw? Haven't the foggiest idea how to solder? Perfect! We'll introduce you to everything you need to know. Whether you're looking for a new creative experience, a fun day out with friends or simply fancy trying something completely different, you're in the right place.

And who knows? This might just be the beginning of your jewellery-making obsession. Don't say we didn't warn you!

What happens?

You'll discover some of the essential techniques used by professional jewellers as you create your very own silver ring from scratch.

During your session, you'll learn how to measure your finger and prepare your silver, saw and anneal metal, shape and form your ring, solder your ring together using a jeweller's torch, and file, refine and finish your creation.

You'll get hands-on with real jewellery-making tools, learn some brilliant new skills and experience the satisfaction of turning a simple piece of silver into something beautiful.

And yes, you get to play with FIRE! 🔥

At the end of your session, you'll have a finished silver ring to take home, wear and proudly tell everyone you made yourself.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope! Just bring yourself and a willingness to get creative!

We'll provide all the silver, tools, materials and equipment you'll need. Everyone gets their own fully equipped jeweller's bench, so you'll have everything at your fingertips.

Please tie back long hair, avoid open-toed shoes and keep loose-fitting clothing to a minimum.

If you need glasses for close-up work, remember to bring them along. Jewellery making can be fiddly business!
