How are cookies managed?
The cookies stored on your computer or other device when you access our websites are designed by:
Other organisations (like Google for Google Analytics, see above) who help us to find out how many visitors use our site and which pages are most popular, so we can create the content most valuable to you.
When someone visits www.vanillainkstudios.co.uk or www.vanillainkthesmiddy.co.uk we use the Google Analytics service, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
You can set your browser to not accept cookies, but this may limit your ability to use the Services
When you purchase a product (or products), workshop, gift voucher(s), etc through our online shop, your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our ecommerce system, which is provided by Squarespace. When you purchase a workshop, squarespace will ask you for a contact number, we will only use this in a case of emergency (i.e when a class has to be cancelled at last minute or there is an accident in the workshop).
Credit or debit card information is encrypted. Our websites use Stripe to process your payment.
You may, of course, purchase items in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data. Mailing list sign-ups are often provided at our workshops and any events we take part in. You can find out about our upcoming events through our website or social media accounts.
Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your explicit consent.
