Wait… WHAT? Level FIVE? Ooft, things are getting properly awesome now! We just keep giving you more and more to learn, don’t we?

Our eight-week Level Five block at Vanilla Ink CIC in Glasgow is designed for confident makers who are ready to stretch their skills, explore new materials, and refine their professional techniques.

You’ll know the structure by now, the first four weeks are dedicated to learning new, advanced jewellery processes, followed by four weeks of personal project time with full tutor support. You bring the ideas, we’ll help you make them shine.

We can’t wait to have you back in the workshop.

Can I do this class?

If you’ve completed Level Four or have significant jewellery-making experience from elsewhere, this one’s for you. You’ll already be confident at the bench, ready to experiment with complex techniques and creative design. Not sure if it’s the right fit? Just get in touch, we’ll help you decide.

What happens?

In the first half of the block, you’ll develop advanced technical and creative skills, including:

• Mitsuro Wax Taster Session

• Melt, Draw Down & Recycle Metal

• Make a Copper Tea Light Holder

• Making a Rex Setting

The final four weeks focus on independent project work, giving you the freedom to explore your own ideas with our team’s guidance and support.

What do I need to bring?

We’ll email you our Level Five Manual before your first class, please bring it digitally or printed, and bring a sketchbook for notes and design planning.

All materials are included for the first four weeks. You’ll have your own fully equipped bench, and we’ll guide you through sourcing any extra materials for your projects.

Please tie back long hair, avoid open-toed shoes, and wear fitted clothing. If you need glasses for close-up work, bring them along, there’s plenty of detail in this block!
