Looking to build on your jewellery-making skills but short on time? Our Level Two Weekend Course at Vanilla Ink CIC in Glasgow is an intense, creative two-day experience that takes your techniques to the next level.

A step up from Level One, this course is designed for those ready to explore more advanced, exciting processes in a fast-paced but supportive environment. You’ll learn a mix of contemporary and traditional techniques, meaning you’ll leave with a collection of beautiful fine jewellery by Sunday evening.

Unlike our Block Classes, this course focuses purely on learning rather than developing independent projects, allowing us to pack in maximum making and skill-building.

Once you’ve completed it, you can progress to Level Three and continue your jewellery journey. Go you!

Can I do this class?

Of course you can! If you’ve already completed Level One or have some previous jewellery-making experience, this weekend is perfect for you. You don’t need to revisit the basics, it’s time to listen to your heart and dive into something a little more advanced.

What happens?

Across the weekend, you’ll complete four focused sessions:

Saturday AM: Statement Earrings
Saturday PM: Water Casting
Sunday AM: Etching
Sunday PM: Enamelling

Each session builds your confidence and technique while giving you plenty of opportunity to explore texture, colour and form in your own way.

Do I need to bring anything?

We’ll email you our Level Two Manual ahead of the class, please bring it digitally or printed, plus a sketchbook for notes or designs.

All tools, materials and silver are provided, and every participant has their own fully equipped bench.

Please tie back long hair, avoid open-toed shoes, and wear fitted clothing. If you need glasses for close-up work, bring them along, jewellery making is fiddly!
