Advanced Stone Setting
Advanced Stone Setting
Give me the info
So, you’ve ticked pretty much every other box and now you want to complete the set, eh? Welcome to Advanced Stone Setting! Now, this isn’t for the faint-hearted, we have to be honest with you! But if you’ve mastered pave, there’s no reason why you can’t progress here.
It’s fiddly, tricky and damn difficult, but man, it is so rewarding! You’ll be taught the most difficult styles of setting by a true Master Goldsmith and Setter. Pay attention to the tutorials before having a go yourself! You’ll be given plenty of time to give each technique a go and check that you’re doing the right thing.
Can I do this class?
Please note that you need to have a damn good understanding of jewellery making. Knowledge of pretty much all jewellery techniques is required. This is for jewellers who have already completed our Intermediate Stone Setting or equivalent. Please don’t sign up unless you have. We reserve the right to check if you have the necessary skills or refuse attendance on this course. Don’t be offended, we just like to do things correctly. Stop being a diva ; ) If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
