In this Taster Session, you make not one, not two, but THREE pairs of silver earrings! You’ll be taught completely from scratch to make a pair of textured studs, forged drop earrings and hammered hoops. That is soooo snazzy!

Can I do this class?

This class is for beginners and those who love having their ears adorned with pretty decorations. It’s an entry-level Taster Session, so no previous experience is necessary.

What happens?

You will learn the basics of jewellery making when being taught to make the earrings. This includes sawing, annealing, forging, soldering, texturing, roll printing and cleaning. That’s a fair list.

Do I need to bring anything?

You don’t need to bring anything with you as we will provide all the equipment and materials needed. Everyone will have their own bench with access to all the tools required to make earrings.

Please wear long hair tied up [or bring something to do so], don’t wear open-toed shoes and keep loose-fitting clothing to a minimum.

If you need glasses to see things close up, please bring them with you. Making jewellery is fiddly!

Who is teaching me?

Our Taster Sessions are taught by one of our awesome tutors. There’s a rumour they can leap tall buildings in a single bound. Just a rumour though…
