Clarice Price Thomas, daughter of a watch and clock maker has just launched her own jewellery brand with her debut collection entitled 'Time Never Stops'. The collection plays on Clarice’s childhood of growing up amongst hundreds of clocks. It features beautiful machine cut cogs made from precious metals, set with tiny stones and engraved by hand to form pieces of jewellery that celebrate the craftsmanship of clock, watch and jewellery making at it’s very best. Clarice was born in Norfolk and is the daughter of a horologist and an occupational therapist. She grew up in a family with a love of antiques, and in a house crammed full of clocks, amongst other beautiful things. She therefore has a huge appreciation of things of true beauty that are made to the finest quality and built to last. Clarice’s jewellery embodies her upbringing and her interests. She creates jewellery that will stand the test of time, becoming one of those rare items that you’ll treasure for a lifetime and pass down through generations. All of Clarice’s jewellery is designed and lovingly made by herself in her studio in Hackney Wick. At the age of nineteen she moved to London to begin a career in jewellery design, and within one year has successfully worked with designers Ana De Costa, Jessica De Lotz and Sophie Harley, proving her passionate love for jewellery making and design. Making the unusual decision not study at university but to instead learn firsthand from key designers in the industry has meant Clarice has developed a unique design style making her stand out as an exciting new designer.
