Creating a professional CV could be quite difficult. Knowing what to put on it and considering what is relevant to your professional CV.

I have uploaded my professional CV to show you what I use. Try keeping it to one A4 sheet.

Does anyone have any advice to give to people looking to write up their professiona CV?

The biggest thing is to definitely keep to one page, this keeps it managable, workable, and to the point. It also makes you automatically edit yourself, so the absolute vital bits and bobs go on.

It's important to have an identity, a strong brand, like anything, you are selling yourself after all. Our biggest no-no would be adding a personal photo. There are instances where this works, but a CV is not one of them. Keep it professional. First impressions count.

I would agree with everything said above. I especially like the idea of keeping it close to your brand. You just need to think about all your experience and talk about what is relevant to your profession. I don't put down every waitressing job that I've had but I have put down my retail experience in a jewellers and it was relevant to what I did.
