Weaving delicate lines of irregular compositions together I can create series of patterns that aim to portray the endless detail that can be found in an untouched natural environment. This method of pattern forming has become a vital tool in my design process as each arrangement can be deconstructed, explored and relationships between space and line studied to create the final object. I also draw upon memories of island legends and tales of creatures beneath the sea to create collections of evocative pieces that embody a sense of curiosity and of the unknown.
