Everything is lovely! But my favourite thing in the shop is this pendant: http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/medium-cluster-pendant I love the structure, the pretty stone and the massively long chain!
Love, Love, Love Jane Gowens Corrie Ring - what can't this lady do with metal? She's an alchemist! I love the structure but also the fluidity
That is a tough decision! I think my fave is Stephanie Bates Graffiti Ring.
I like the mix of something very angular covered in something messy! :)
I love Nicola Reed's Broken Links Necklace because of the colours and the hard work that went into making it! :)
oh, how lovely .. i adore everything! especially that beautiful '
Encrusted Segment Michelle Oh necklace as well! xo
fingers crossed!
My favourite piece of jewellery from VanillaInk has to be Katie Lee's Tri Studs. I chose them because they are what made me discover VanillaInk last year because I chose to look at Katie's work for a project I was doing at Cardonald college in my jewellery designing course. I love the bold structure and the contrast between the red stone and the oxidised silver! I recently struggled to make a cube structure out of copper so I can only how difficult it was to create this piece. All of the work from VanillaInk is so inspiring I am so happy to have discovered it.
From an aspiring jewellery designer, Rona
They are all so lovely its so difficult to pick just one! I love Joanne Macfaden's epiphany bloom sapling pendant & canopy ring. Katie Lees collection is beautiful too, I especially love the twice set ring. But I think my favourite piece has to be Holly Wilcox's granuale ring. I think it's just so simple, delicate & beautiful :) xxx
I think this piece by Jane Gowans rocks - http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/glacier-ring-gold
the lustre of the gold fuses so well with the pool of colour - very appealing to my eye
It has to be Zoe Duthies "Spectacles"!! Very vintage and quirky! Love the work being offered as prizes - a nice variety! ;)
I LOVE the http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/pheasant-feathers by Kelly McAllister.
I have a very strange fear of all birds. Yet, at the same time, fascinated by their eery beauty and always seem to be drawn to jewelery, art and fashion based/inspired by them.
The delicate feathers hanging from the heavy chain is an interesting contrast which I guess I relate to my love/hate relatioship with the creatures.
The colours are amazing also.
This necklace would do any outfit justice and bring anything to life. But I think it deserves to be shown off and savoured for special occasions!
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Hats off to you Kelly x
Love Stephanie Bates' Panel Ring. Haven't been able to stop thinking about it since trying it on at the Vanilla Ink Online Shop launch. Also congratulations on the studio opening. It looks amazing!
Whilst I love Jane Gowans 'Bessie' ring, Ros Millar's 'single stud ring', Katie Lees 'structure pendant' (hmm i seem to have a love of clusters) I would have to say my favourite is Joanne MacFadyen's 'Epiphany Bloomsprung'. Although it's, literally, dripping with metal, it still manages to hold on to a delicate, organic feel. It has also made me think about wearing hoops again so, for me, thats enough reason right there! :-D
This was actually me (Nicola Reed!) I wanted to join in the fun too but still logged in as the boyf ;p
I LOVE the Pink Cube Studs by Stephanie Bates! I meet Stephanie briefly at Bovey Tracey Craft Fair where we talked and realised I had seen her work via Vanilla Ink! I am seriously thinking about getting a pair to wear at my wedding in October! Maybe I could win them! I'm a fan of the simplicity of them and at the same time how striking they are. I think they create a real statement! I totally covet them!
They are all stunning pieces, but it has to be between holly's earrings and Roisin earrings as they are both beautiful designs, but i think Holly's earring win me over,
Anything by Katie Lees - architectural all the way!!
Having deliberated for a long time, my favourite has to be Katie Lees' Medium Cluster Pendant http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/medium-cluster-pendant
The composition of the shapes make this really striking. The oxidised silver an the topaz look awesome!
My favourites are the Michelle Oh encrusted necklace and ring...I need these in my life. x
this is my favourite- http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/medium-cluster-pendant
i like the shapes of it:)
My favourite piece is the Blossom Ring by Sarah Brown. It is probably what I would choose to give as a gift. The gold granule is a great finishing touch.
So many gorgeous things but I am loving Katie Lee's designs, especially the structure pendant, it's gorgeous :)
"Scalloped earrings" by Rebecca Little. It's the combination of strong and delicate, modern and classic, dark and light. Some comments talk about the materials and the making process, well I'm not familiarised with the techniques so all I can say is that there's something about those earrings that trapped me.
Her collection and Michelle Oh are my favourites!
I love all of Katie Lees jewellery, I love the geometric shapes combined with beautiful stones :)
My favourite has to be Jane Gowans' 'Glacier Ring Gold'
Its mix of gold with colour is amazing and i love how heavy it appears.
Bold, bright and fabulous, i love a piece of statement jewellery!
My favourite is Jane Gowans' 'Glacier Ring Gold'
I love how chunky and heavy it appears and the mix of gold with colour!
Bold, bright and fabulous, i love a piece of statement jewellery! :)
Such a hard decision as everything in the Vanilla Ink shop is incredibly beautiful! I love Jane's Betty Earrings and desperately want them in my life, but Roisin's Remnants of Edinburgh Earring's have stolen my heart as I'm from Edinburgh and they capture my favourite haunts of the old town so well!
I love Kelly Mcallisters blackened steel necklace it's so versatile. I could wear it on so many occasions. A real statement piece. Great work vanilla ink!
I'm a sucker for a beautiful ring and totally love the Cairn ring by Jane Gowans - it's just stunning!
I love the Basalt Ring by Jane Gowans, It's beautiful!
It's very hard to choose!
I cannot decide between Nicola Reed or Molly Ginnelly.
Both pieces are so delicate, sweet and easy to wear. I love them both!
i'm quite in love with this guy http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/antonio-black he looks well hard with his tat. But i am most in love with kelly's white feather necklace http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/white-feathers If i was ever to get hitched this would be the item for me. It's that special. (just to clarify, i want it regardless of marital status)

This is my favourite piece - once I found these earrings I have become obssessed with them. I love the clean lines of Roisin's pieces mixed with the whimsical etchings - they remind me of memories of travelling. J'adore!!
I love Nicola Reed's Amazonite bracelet because of it's clean, fresh, and glacial gorgeousness. A timeless classic!
Difficult decision but my top choice is Jane Gowans' oxidised Basalt ring.
I just love Jo MacFadyen's Epiphany Bloom Spalding and Petal.I know it is two pieces but I fell in love with them the very first time I set eyes on them. The sapling is just so elegant and reminds me of the begining of a large overflow of bubbles. As for the Petal I just love the glistening Agate and the texture of the silver.xx
I LOVE Kelly McAllister's BLACKENED STEEL necklace - I look at it and think - I could wear this with every outfit in my wardrobe! In fact, I am putting in a back order now because I want one - such a great price too!
Hope all is going well and best of luck to everyone! Vanilla Ink is an incredible company to be part of xxxxxxxxxx
Oh my word that is the hardest question ever! I think i would have to choose Epiphany Bloom Orchard Ring by Joanne MacFadyen. I really love the colour of the stone and i like the organic shape of the detail on the ring itself. I have only just started wearing rings again (infact my vanilla ink ring hasnt left my finger since i got it!). Also its just so pretty!
My favourite item from the shop is Jane Gowans Limited Edition Ring 2 http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/limited-edition-ring-2
I would call it a "sunset over a cyberpunk city". Chaotic metallic structure looks cold and harsh and holds tightly in its grip a stone that has the colour of an evening sun. It's edge still glows with fading heat and energy before getting swallowed by the concrete and metal. Looks amazing. <3
I love these earrings http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/stalagmite-earrings-oxidised
I have pierced ears but haven't worn earrings in about 10yrs as everything seems too fancy/girly for my style and tastes but these are perfect. Strong, simple statement pieces with that rock edge. Love them
I love Molly Ginelly's mint fawn brooch. Firstly - mint/teal is my favourite colour and I reckon this would look lovely on my winter coat- its almost winter here after all!
The piece that stands out to me is Kelly McCallister's Pheasant Feathers... its a combined piece with nature and jewellery which makes this piece simplistic but elegant...i looooove the contract between the feathers and the stainless steel links...A statemant piece that will catch the eyes of men and women alike. I feel i could wear this for any celebration but not an every day piece...very very beautiful :):).
Hello Vanilla Ink! All designs are beautiful, but I particularly love the 'Matilda Ring' by Jane Gowans, as I've just been to New York City and it reminds me of the skyline. Best wishes to you all!
I can't decide... so I'm going to have to choose ALL of Katie Lees work - stunning! :)
This is a hard one! But I do love Katie Lees work, especially her small clustered pendant with the Citrine stone. I love how she takes inspiration from gritty industrial machinery and turns it into a piece that is so pretty! Beautiful!
I love all of the designs so its pretty difficult to choose, but I think it would have to be Buffon the cat by Don Manolo, he is adorable! An illustration and a cat all in one piece of jewellery, what more could you ask for? :D
Blackened Steel by Kelly McAllister
An amazing collection of necklaces that are more like art pieces in their own entirety. Wearing one of these would make any outfit look fantastic and when it is not being worn I would have it in pride of place in my room, a feature in itself.
Hello! It is difficult to pick one piece, as many of them appeal to different parts of me. But, in this moment, the Epiphany Bloom Droplet hoops are my favourite: http://www.vanillainkstudios.co.uk/epiphany-bloom-droplet . Why? Because they are delicate, beautifully crafted, and simply lovely. It's the kind of gift I'd love to receive from someone special.
There are some stunningly beautiful pieces of jewellery in the shop, my favourite is the granule necklace by Holly Wilcox, such a delicate, simple shape, love it.
My favourite is
Stephanie Bates' Black Etched Cube Drops
http://vanillainkstudios.co.uk/black-etched-cube-drops
love the simple geometry - beautiful!
